On my 2000 c2500 I just replaced all tie rods along with pitman and idler arms. Took it to get a very expensive alignment and they put it to spec they say but ive got slop in the steering box. I am talking from the yellow center line on my steering wheel I can move it a good 4 inches or so each way before the truck reacts, almost like slop in the box. Its a Tom Lee box.
